In this content, I’ve provided FOUR ways to link your NIN to your Airtel Line, along with instructions on how to check your NIN using your Airtel line. How To Link Your NIN To Your Airtel Line

There are four ways to link your NIN to your Airtel line. They include; 

  • Via USSD Code 
  1. Dial *121*1# using your Airtel line
  2. Follow the prompt to link your NIN to your Airtel line. 
  3. Input your 11-digit NIN number 
  4. Press send to submit your request 

Once you’ve followed these steps, you’ve successfully linked your NIN to your Airtel line. Now, it’s time to check your NIN using your Airtel line. Let’s continue. 

  • Via NIN Portal

You can use the Airtel NIN portal to link your Airtel line with your NIN. See the process below;

  1. Visit the official Airtel NIN portal.
  2. Enter your phone number. 
  3. Click on Proceed. 
  4. An OTP will be sent to your line to validate that the Airtel line is yours. Input your OTP as requested. 
  5. Input your NIN number in the provided space. 
  6. Click on submit to complete the process. 
  • Via Airtel Office 

You can visit the nearest Airtel office with your NIN. See the processes below;

  1. Visit the nearest Airtel office 
  2. Go with your Airtel pack and NIN number.
  3. Speak to the Airtel representative on duty and tell them the purpose of your visit.
  4. Please fill out the form presented to you and submit it to the Airtel representative. 
  5. Input your NIN number and Airtel mobile number. Ensure your details are correct. 
  6. The representative will complete the registration for you. 
  • Via NIMC MobileID App
  1. Go to Google Play Store OR Apple Store
  2. Search for “NIMC MobileID App”
  3. Download and install the app on your phone
  4. Launch the NIMC MobileID App and enter your National Identification Number into the required space
  5. Enter your Airtel phone number
  6. Click on submit
  7. An OTP code will be sent to your Airtel SIM card
  8. Enter the OTP code into the required space

How to Check Your NIN On Your Airtel Line 

It is possible to misplace your NIN number. You can get it back by following the process below; 

  1. Dial *346# on your phone 
  2. Select NIN Retrieval 
  3. Choose number 1 to receive your NIN
  4. Your NIN will be displayed on your screen. 

NB: You should know that the above process of NIN retrieval will cost you N20 airtime. You can write your NIN down and keep it safely in case of another time.
